TWIN LAKES PROJECT SCHEDULE UPDATE:

  • ROAD GRINDING TUESDAY, JUNE 19
  • PAVING WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, JUNE 20 – 22

ROADWORK

Work in the roadway is nearing completion with just a few operations remaining.

Tuesday, June 19:  Graniterock will grind the asphalt in the intersection of East Cliff Drive and 7th Ave. Flaggers will assist to keep traffic moving through the intersection during the grinding operation. Expect delays.

Wednesday through Friday, June 20 – 22:  Graniterock will complete final lift paving. One lane one-way traffic will be open while the asphalt is being installed. Expect delays. Two lane two-way traffic will be restored by Friday, June 22 with temporary traffic markers.

After grinding and paving are complete, and two-way traffic has been restored, Graniterock will raise manholes and water valves in the roadway. This may cause delays. Permanent striping will then be installed by July 3, which will conclude work in the roadway.

Other project work may remain to be completed, such as landscaping and fencing, but nothing that will impact traffic.

HARBOR BUSINESSES

All Harbor restaurants, stores, businesses, and facilities will be open during grinding and paving operations. All weekly planned events will take place as scheduled.

TRAFFIC FLOW

Two lane two-way traffic will be restored by Friday, June 22. Temporary pavement markers will be in place until permanent striping is placed by Tuesday, July 3.
